Audio Problems and Move to Twitch
I have a few things I want to say this week. The first of which is I'm sorry for the audio in the next 3 videos this week. When I was editing the videos this week I noticed my audio sounded far away. I tried to make it louder but it just didn't work. It took me a bit but I think I figured out what happend. Xsplit decided to use my headset mic instead of my snow ball mic. Which is why it sounds so fair away when I'm talking cause the mic is on my head.
The next thing I want to talk about is streaming. For awhile now I have been using YouTube Gaming for my streams, but as much as I love it l'm going to move my streams back to Twitch. From the streamer point of view I think youtube gaming is better since I have control over the ads but there's also no one on YouTube gaming watching. I started off thinking that YouTube gaming was new and people would go there to see what it was like and I figured being new My stream would be more likely to be seen since there would be less people streaming compared to Twitch. But now I think the newness of YouTube gaming is gone and I think for the Benefit of the channel I should go back to Twitch.
The streams will still be on the YouTube channel like they are today. But I just won't be on YouTube gamings stream. You will see me on Twitch by going to stream.cybermikebgaming.com this link will take you to my Twitch page. So I hope everyone has a good week.
Tentacle Difficultys
The other day I recorded some Hero's of the Storm and Rocket League videos and well the videos came out just find and the audio from the games came out just fine. The problem is for some reason the audio from my mic didn't record. The only reason I can think of for this is normally when I stream my Guilds raid every week I set Xsplit to push to talk, so it only records what Im saying when I hit push to talk for mumble. I know I turned this off the other day when I recorded but all I can think of is maybe I didn't unmute the mic after I changed this stetting.
So right now Im trying to figure out what I want to do. Should I release what I have even though the mic isn't on or should I rerecord everything today. If I rerecord everything It might not be on time for tomorrow at 11:00 AM EST like I normally have it. Im leaning towards rerecording and working my ass off to have everything edited and uploaded on time.
I just thought I would let you know what is going on if the videos are not up tomorrow.
