Photo of the Week 6/9/2025

This week's Photo of the Week comes from 2018. It's a portrait-mode photo I took of my cat Rockie. He died a few years ago but I have so many photos of him. Anytime I wanted to try out different photo apps or explore new photo features on my iPhone, I always used him as my model. Mostly cause I could easily get him to pose how I wanted with just a toy or a hoodie string.

Portrait mode on the iPhone can be great but the stage spotlight can have its issues, especially before they tuned it to work better with pets. Though sometimes I can get it to break in cool ways. Here it is working as intended and it makes his orange colors pop and his pretty cat eyes.
