Long Exposure at Union Station
On my way to Wisconsin last weekend, I had a 5-hour layover at Union Station in Chicago. While I was there, I got something to eat and walked around. At one point, I was sitting in the Great Hall watching people go by, and I thought, 'Why not take some photos?' I took a few, and they were alright, but then I thought, why not experiment with long exposure? The problem was I couldn’t remember what app I used before to do that, and so I asked AI as one does nowadays, hoping it would jog my memory. It gave me a list of apps that could help do long exposures on the iPhone, but it also reminded me that I can do them with just the normal camera app.
It took me a minute and a few failed shots to figure it out, but once I did, I had fun, and it broke up the time I had left in Chicago. If you are wondering how to do long exposures on the iPhone, all you have to do is take a live photo and then go to that photo and tap on where it says live in the upper left corner, and then change it to long exposure. I decided the photos I took looked best in black and white. It's almost like seeing the ghosts of travelers past.
